Rape Crisis Center: Part Time Advocate

Job Description
The Family Crisis Center, Inc. has a New Position Opening for a Part Time Advocate in our
Rape Crisis Center.  This position has the potential of becoming full-time next year and has the
potential for advancement in the program. Only the highest quality applicants will be
considered.
A strong desire to provide high quality services and advocacy to adult victims of

Job Requirements
Qualified applicants will have a minimum of a BA degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal
Justice or a relevant related field, a minimum of 2 years experience working with victims of
trauma, abuse or other violent crimes, a demonstrated ability to problem solve and work with
community partners, flexibility to share on-call duty with other staff, and a demonstrated ability
to perform public speaking engagements and educational presentations in a professional and
effective manner.  Other details of the job description will be discussed during in-person
